Henry Leonard Rylander, a life-long resident of Leduc County, passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
Henry enjoyed spending time with family and friends whenever he could, whether it was getting together for a game of cards, watching hockey, or putzing around on his acreage. He will be fondly remembered as a craftsman and creator, who spent countless hours shooting the breeze with family and friends in his shop. Henry’s eyes lit up when he was around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Henry will be lovingly remembered by his partner Miriam Huber; 4 children Darcy (Kelly) Rylander, Harley Rylander, Shelly (Paul) Nichol, Karen (Ian) Russell; 8 grandchildren Darius and Dylan Rylander, Jordan, Colin and Craig Nichol, Justine, Shaun and Allison Russell; 4 great-grandchildren Emily, Jake, Adam and Jade Nichol; sister Sylvia (Gordon) Kirchner and sister-in-law Marilyn Rylander.

A Celebration of Henry’s Life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. David’s United Church, Leduc.
