My heart goes out to the family – I got to know Bernice when I worked at Canadian Blood Services and she was always one of my favorite donors. She saved hundreds of lives through plasma donation and helped so many hospital patients in their struggle to survive. Thank you, Bernice – Rest in Peace.

Jim & Kyle

Our sincere condolences to the Henning family. Bernice was a wonderful person in many ways. I really got to know her through the LWML. She was a good neighbour. We always loved driving by their place at Christmas time and enjoying the beautiful naivety set up for all to see and the cross placed up high on their silo. She will be missed by many.

To the Hennig Family: We send our prayers and sympathy. You were blessed to have had your mother and grandmother for so many years with many memories that you can fall back on when feelings of sadness overcome you. We are sending our love.

Kimberly Lang

I had the pleasure of having chats with Mrs. Hennig, many times, most memorably at Farmers’ Days parades, as we talked about family, and the history of the area. We would search each other out, and enjoy the day. She was charming, had a lovely sense of humour, and was most definitely loved by people in Stony Plain as they would stop by for chats. She would introduce me as her friend ( which was such an honour) and the conversations would continue. My heart goes out to the Hennig families as they share love and memories of such a dear dear lady. With sympathy and love, Kim Lang and the Lang family.

Clifford & Audrey Goerz

Verna Watson

Uncle Roly, Perry, Tammy, Jody, Bev and all your family.

When I think of Aunt Bernice, I think of love. She was so full of love. You were all blessed to have her and all that love, for so many years!! I too, experienced much love from her as well. We had so many wonderful conversations together in bible study and before and after church.
Growing up, I learned some German from her and spent time on the farm babysitting for you and Aunt Bernice. Good times!!
We will miss her immensely but know now, she rests in her Heavenly home. We have reassurance, through Jesus that we will meet again.

Love You All,
Verna and Family

Such an accomplished and special lady. I have a very vivid memory as a child and her gifting me a red Geranium on a visit to the farm. I’d never been entrusted to nurture anything and I cherished it and felt so proud. Wishing you all peace, and the gift of cherished memories.
