Thinking and praying for each of you continually. I heard a song on the radio the other day and it made me think of your dad/husband. He truly is home for Christmas. We rejoice in the hope that we all meet again and never have to say good-bye thanks to the saving grace of Jesus. I wish for you abundant peace and abiding comfort as the days pass. I continually pray for your strength and emotional healing. Much love.

Dear Sister Froehlich, Dear Family,

Our most sincere love and sympathy for you all in the passing of your dear husband, father, and grandfather. District Elder Froehlich was such a wonderful example of dedication in the Lord’s work… he displayed such love, devotion and care for God’s children for so many years. Sister Drechsler, and the Rauchensteiners remember “Priest Froehlich” coming to Kamloops and Williams Lake already in 1970 to establish these congregations. All thanks and praises be to our Heavenly Father for the many blessings bestowed to us all through this great man and faithful servant!

His presence will be sorely missed. He had a way with words, we could listen to him serve for hours.

My dear Froehlich family. we have been keeping you all in our hearts and prayers for you for quite some time and wanted to share some thoughts in a tribute that I hope will be of some comfort:

Because of the things he taught and modeled:
There are many wives who have a better husband,
There are many children who have a better father,
There are many souls who have a better Shepherd,
There are many congregations who have a better Rector.
There are many souls who were comforted in their darkest hours
Some of whom have already entered the beyond and some who remain.
He is a lighthouse that will still shine for a generation,
His work and example are a wonderful legacy,
Recorded forever in the Book of Life.
His teaching, like seeds, have been scattered far and wide
To bear abundant fruit in many seasons and places.
All those who have been blessed and touched by him,
Are surrounding you the family in spirit,
And praying for your strength and peace and comfort.
When you are down, or lonely or sad,
Know that there is a chorus of a living song
That continues to sing, and uplift, and bring solace..
Thanks to you and your beloved Husband, Dad and Grandpa,
And the dear District Elder and friend we all know and love.

Thank you!

Brandtsky (name officially retired, it was only used by him)

Dear District Elder, I cannot express how perfect and timely your coming to his bedside, so that he could have his sins forgiven before he went into eternity. That you as the son of your wonderful Father who in 2008 put dad into Retirement, it is really remarkable, we will always be thankful for this.

Ruth Cooke

Although it’s been many years since we left Alberta, the kindnesses of the District Elder and his family have never been forgotten. They are etched permanently in my heart. I still remember receiving a call from the District Elder when my own husband, Richard passed away many years ago. His heart was always open for God’s children and his smile always uplifted a weary heart. My condolences are extended to the Froehlich family; may our Heavenly Father surround you with the comfort of the Holy Spirit and give you strength to heal from the loss of husband, father, and grandfather.

District Elder Froehlich, thank you for your Love – including me as one of your own since I was 8, teaching me to pray, calling me fatso, the gifts from the Philipians, the advice, the services, the example of your family, marrying Nils and I, sitting with me countless hours in hospital; and forgiving me and hugging me on your birthday. You are so loved, and will be so, so misssed. Love and prayers from all of the family to all of yours.

Although we are miles away, our hearts are filled with sadness, yet gratitude. Sadness in hearing of the passing of District Elder Froehlich. Yet, gratitude and thankfulness in having the privilege and honour of meeting District Elder Froehlich, and experiencing together a miracle in our time. He will live in our hearts forever, as will all of you. We will continue to pray and offer that Our Lord Jesus will give you strength during these difficult times. May you find peace and comfort in Our Lord Jesus promise that we will be together again for eternity. With special love, Helen, Bryan and Cindy Wood.

Helga Kuchler

Our condolences to the Froehlich family and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of sadness. The District Elder was so much a part of our lives for so many years and his passing will leave a void in our hearts and the hearts of so many. May you take comfort in knowing how much he was loved and this is only ‘auf wiedersehen’.
Love, Ron and Helga Kuchler and family

I have thought of him several times recently and remembered the many moments we shared together in the Sault and on youth weekends. He was a very special and loving man who loved doing God’s work and now he can continue doing that with those who have gone before us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and families.

In Memory of
Precious one rest in peace
In your brand new world
There the light always shines
Such a lovely light
You were here, now you’re gone
Oh so far away
We loved you, always will
Memories never die
We’ll be strong, just for you
Soon there’ll come a day
When we see that same light,
We’ll be on our way
Until then we’ll pray
Till that precious day

Carrying you in our love and prayers at this difficult time. I know I said on Sunday not to be sad and that there will be enough time to be sad. I guess the time has come. Was a privilege to be with you all at his bedside and celebrate the Lord’s Supper just before his passing. Thank you for this privilege. We will all miss his faith, joy, and conviction. It is up to use to carry on his legacy.
