Henry Grynas has passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord. Born in Lithuania, he survived WWII and emigrated as a worker to Scotland. A few years later he was sponsored for emigration to Canada and settled in Edmonton for the remainder of his life.
He is survived by Jolanda his wife of 69 year; son Richard (Teresa); daughter Karen (Peter); grandchildren Laura (Jason), Janet (Daniel), Robert (Kayla) and Kelly (Mike); great grandchildren Lillian and Lola; niece Astrid (John) and nephews Karl (Freda) and Felix (Emilie). Henry was predeceased by his parents and siblings.
Internment at St. Paul’s Lutheran Ellerslie Cemetery.
