GREY, William Maxwell

On July 25, 2022 our cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away at the age of 92 years.

He was born in Harry Hill, Alberta on June 24, 1930. He grew up with three sisters and one brother.
At age 21 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and worked in armament systems and avionics. He served until 1979.

In 1955 Bill met the love of his life Theresa Blanchfield. They were married on June 9, 1956. Bill and Terry had three children. He had a love of gardening, construction and helping others. Family meant everything to Bill. His big smile was very contagious, and he will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his older sisters: Urayne and Beth.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Theresa; son Jeff, daughters: Cindy (David) and Cathy (Ron);
four grandchildren: Michelle, Elise, Alanna and Ryan; four great-grandchildren: Blythe, Micah, Emmett and Jasper; his younger sister Viola; a niece, nephews and many friends.

A very sincere thank you to all the staff at Kipnes Centre for Veterans for their loving care.

I knew this dear gentle man through St. Charles church, Saturday masses. His lovely wife would bring him in the wheelchair every Saturday. I loved talking to them every time we met. God bless him and his dear wife and all his loving family.

Many years of loving and enjoying your family, friends and career. Many of your loved ones will miss you very much but hopefully they will be able to draw on all the memories and special times you spent with them. Gone from this earth but never from the hearts of those you loved you over the years. Your legacy will live on! May God bless your family while you are no longer here to do so!! Rest In Peace Bill- you earned it!!!
