It is with great sadness the family of Greta Pansy Stead (nee Murphy) of Chipman, Alberta announce her passing on December 20, 2019 at the age of 77.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Gary Stead, sons, Patrick (Susan) of Calgary and Garret (Melissa Lynne) of Fort Saskatchewan, daughter Melissa Dawn of Leduc, her 6 grandchildren, Emma (15), Brianna (13), Hailey (12), Rebecca (10), Cameron (8) and Sawyer (3), many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. Greta was pre-deceased by her parents Herbert and Pansy, her brothers Claude, Ivan “Murph”, and James, sisters Ruby and Vaunda and grandson Clayton.
Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Chipman National Hall at 4715-50 St, Chipman, AB on Friday January 10, 2020 @ 1:00pm.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Lamont Auxiliary Hospital who cared for Greta during her time there.
