GREENE, Earleen

Born March 4, 1941 in Vancouver, BC and peacefully passed away February 25, 2021 in Camrose, AB.

Earleen was raised on the family farm just outside Wetaskiwin where her favourite hobby was her horse Buddy.  Earleen was also a very gifted pianist and enjoyed playing for family.  She graduated from Wetaskiwin Composite High School and after a year of college in Edmonton, married Jerry Greene in 1962.  Their union brought three children Shauna, Robert and Kimberley.  They lived most of their life in Wetaskiwin until 1986 when they made the move to Coronation.  Later on Earleen moved to Castor with special friend Ernie Strome.  In 2018 Earleen moved to Rosealta in Camrose, and later Maple Cottage in Bethany Meadows where she passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side.

She will be sadly missed by children Shauna (Dave) Buist, Bob (Heather) Greene, Kimberley (Daren) Greene; grandchildren Cory (Stephanie) Babwik, Stephanie (Callum) Lavoie, Alyssa (Braden) Monaghan, Shelby Schmidt, Micheala Greene, Ryan Greene; step-grandson Colby (Amanda) Buist; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Jack, Kaylee Buist, Devon Anderson, Sullivan Hunt and Finn Sheldon Lavoie; brothers Gary Krutzfeldt, Bob (Brenda) Krutzfeldt, Jim (Donna) Krutzfeldt; brothers-in-law Ben Batke and James Wyness; and special friend Ernie Strome; as well as numerous Greene and Rombough family.  Earleen was predeceased by her husband Jerry Greene (1987), parents Raymond (1998) and Darleen (2012), her grandson Sheldon Babwik (2006), and her brother Raymond Lee (2013); and too many of the Greene family.

Earleen will be reunited with Jerry on September 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wetaskiwin Cemetery.  A private family gathering will be held later.
