June 15, 1943 – January 3, 2015

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce our beloved father and grandfather, Gordon Binfet, passed away at the age of 71 years with his children by his side.

He will be dearly missed by his children: Ashley, Stacey (Scott) and Lisa (David) and grandchildren: Julie, John, Joseph, Abigail and Cole. Gordon was predeceased by his loving wife Olga in 2012.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Parish, 7508-29 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.

The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion shown by the doctors and nursing staff at Grey Nuns Community Hospital.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, #710, 10123-99 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 9Z9.
