Gordon Herb Knull

-

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Herb Knull at Leduc Hospital at the age of 84 years.

Gordon is survived by his sons, Norman (Karen), Ron (Janice); grandchildren, Kaine (Maggie), Michael (Jennessa), Landon, Jayce; great-grandchild, Arco; sister, May; brother, Clifford as well as many numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; sister, Delia; and brother, Dave.

He will be remembered as a very determined, hard-working individual who had a humorous loving soul. At the age of 19 he married the love of his life Lorraine (nee Wedman) and enjoyed their time together for 62 years on the farm. They both loved dairy farming and gardening with many beautiful flowers everywhere on their yard. As a hobby Gordon enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and relatives on all the local lakes…winter or summer.

Special thanks to everyone that visited him in the Leduc Hospital and the great care that all staff and nurses gave to him in his final months; also Dr. Holden and her staff at Griffiths Clinic for their medical support.

A celebration of Gordon’s life will take place Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Telford Hall (48142 Range Road 262, Leduc County, AB) with burial following the service at the Grace Lutheran Gnadenthal Cemetery (Township Rd 494, Leduc County, AB) at approximately 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to the Grace Lutheran Gnadenthal Cemetery Fund ( c/o 26078A Twp. Rd. 494, Leduc County, AB T4X 2E2).
