Gordon Allan Brandolini

-

Surrounded by the people he loved, Gord passed away peacefully at the Mazankowski Heart Institute on June 9, 2015 at the age of 72.

He was a loving husband of 46 years to wife Pat, a good father to son Donald (Amy) and daughter Brenda (Bev), and loving grandfather to his grandchildren Abby, Kira, and Rhys. Gord was predeceased by both his parents, Frank and Hilda, and his sister Claire.

Gord enjoyed cooking up a storm in the kitchen, working in his workshop on the lathe, or just creating something out of wood or acrylic. Come spring, his favourite pleasure was to be at the baseball diamond umpiring a game, chatting it up with the catchers, and interacting with coaches and players.

His Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Missionary Church, 5058 – 2 Street, New Sarepta, AB. Following the service, please join the family for refreshments at the church.

we played together and are years at Vancouver college. We had a great reunion
in 2004 of the 50th anniversary of our 1954 little league all star team. It was so great

Dear Pat,
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Although we had only met briefly, it was very clear to us how dear you and Gord were to each other.
Please feel free to lean on us, if there’s anything you need a hand with. We look forward to seeing you at a campfire night soon.
Take care.
