On June 14, 2018, Glen McRae of Edmonton passed away quietly in his sleep at the age of 86 years after a long illness.

Glen will be forever remembered by his wife, Lucy, sons Dave (Tanis) of Grande Prairie, AB and Bruce (Rose) of Cochrane, AB. He is also survived by his four loving grandchildren, Sonia, Niklas, Ian and Aidan, and his older brother Bob.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Ada, stepmother Mary, brothers George, Don, and Jack, and sisters Evelyn and Clara.

The family would like to express its sincere thanks to the staff at South Terrace Long Term Care Home and St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital, and to Dr. Bradstock for his care over the last 8 years, with an extra special thank you to his care aides (“angels”).

A Celebration of Glen’s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 11 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 11111-57 Ave NW Edmonton, AB.
