Our deepest sympathy to Eleanors family. We were neighbours, 1 house over from Eleanor at Lago Lindo for 31 years. We left in 2017 to downsize and lost contact especially when Covid hit. Eleanor was an amazing woman. We were a young family when we moved into the area. I would come home from work around 3:30 p.m. and she would be going for the mail. We would chat on the sidewalk for an hour just to catch up. She had such a good sense of humour. There was laughter and she was so sincere in her conversation. I don’t know where she got her energy from as She was 16 yrs. older than me but I was tired and she was not. She was over to our place and commented on my garden and flower beds. She knew how to garden and gave me a few tips. When my husband retired, he went to help her with cutting the grass and to trim the giant pine tree she had in her back yard. A big thank you to our neighbours Tanya and Dale for continuing their goodwill of cutting grass, and other supports Eleanor appreciated. We will surely miss Eleanor.
