George Thompson

May 5, 1940 - November 10, 2017

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of George Thompson on November 10, 2017, at the age of 77 years.

George will be greatly missed by his wife Elizabeth and sons: Gregory and Jason. He also left behind two sisters: Lillian and Alice.

He was predeceased by son Glen and daughter Tanya, brothers: Richard, Bruce, Fred, Robert and Merle; two sisters: Zelda and Rita.

A Graveside Service for George will take place at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 10132 – 163 Street, Edmonton on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 12:30 pm and a service will follow at Gospel Centre Church, 9445 – 153 Street at 1:30 pm, with Pastor Murray Coughlan officiating.

Memorial contributions in George’s honour may be made directly to a charity of one’s choice.
