It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, George of Edmonton, Alberta.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Angela; parents John and Sophia; sister Mary; brother’s Peter and Steve; he leaves to cherish his many memories, children, Terry (Annette), Wayne (Jacquie), Shelley (Colin); grandchildren, Travis (Jocelyn), Terri-Ann, Amber (Jeff), Dylan (Lianna), Derrick (Samantha), Brandon (Stephanie), Jordan (Cassandra), Kyle (Alina) and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Caleb, Owen and Jillian.
A Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church (9003 – 153 Avenue, Edmonton) Reverend Janko Herbut officiating. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery (13819-82 Street, Edmonton).

The family would like to thank Dr. Barton, the Northeast Palliative Home Care Team and all the staff at the Norwood Palliative Care Unit for their wonderful care, compassion and support.
