Sandra Cameron Ollenberger

My sincere sympathy to Alex’s family. I just lost my husband Gene (73) on April 16th from pancreatic cancer. Such a horrible time to lose anyone with this virus happening. I’m Jim Cameron’s younger sister. Jim is still well and still living in Winnipeg.

Beverley and Brian Thompson

Dear Carmen and Donna and families. I just read of Alex passing . What a good man and life he had . His legacy for me And my family is the great addition he and Roberta were to our young family on the farm. Such memories popping popcorn and stringing for a tree before Alex ate to much. Whenever we needed help or guidance they were a stone throw away. I have nothing but love and respect for this great pioneer. We loved them so much and were so sad to see them leave although understood. Thankyou all for sharing them both with us. Hugs

Alex is my second cousin- his Mother, Mabel is the cousin of my Father, J. Garnet Anderson. Sending love to Roberta, Carmen, Donna and Family. I remember Alex and his family from before 1965, when my family moved to Saskatoon- and also in later phone conversations- a lovely individual. Pictures in the Carnduff and District local history show him as a young man in the Agricultural Society with my Grandma Emma Anderson, many years ago, His fine example and good works will continue to echo out in the lives of those who knew and loved Alex. God bess. With Love, Ruth Anderson Donovan, Edmonton.
