FOGG, Elroy (Roy)

-

With much love and gratitude for a long life well lived Roy’s family sadly announces his passing on October 2, 2020 at the age of 95.

He will be forever loved and so deeply missed by his children: Lynda (Dave), Bruce (Lorna), Gordon (Norma) and Susan (Mark); grandchildren: Barbara, Debra (Ignacio), and Nathan; Lindsay, Malina, Brandi (Dwayne), Farrah (passed); great-grandchildren: Grayson, Wren, Liam, Sianna, Mercades and Dreya; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended families in Winnipeg and Ontario.

Roy was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Doraine, parents Walter and Elizabeth Fogg, sisters Irene and Grace, and brothers Russell, Walter and Ron.

Roy’s family meant everything to him.  He attended every activity and special event and loved family gatherings, especially at Christmas or birthdays. He was always interested in everything we were doing and supported all of us in immeasurable ways.

Roy was like that with his friends as well.  The bonds he forged lasted many years and spoke to his kindness, generosity, and the genuine care and concern he had for those dear to him.

We will miss his quiet strength, witty humour, little giggle, twinkling eyes, and above all his unending love.

Special thanks to the staff at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre.

Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at St.Luke’s Anglican Church, 8424-95 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.  For those wishing to join us virtually, a live stream will be available live at stlukesanglicanchurch.org and can also be viewed at a later date. To view click the [Watch Live] box. The family requests that there be no flowers, instead, donations could be made to the charity of your choice.
