After 95 years of a busy and meaningful life, Florence Game, went to sleep for the final time on June 26, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Game, and was the last surviving member of the James Clarke family.
Florence was able to hug her son, Robert and his wife Susan who visited last week from Toronto.
Her other children: Brian, Janice and Barbara had many opportunities to tell her they loved her.
Florence’s grandchildren: Alex (Kristen), Jeff (Juli), Owen (Tiffany), Bryn (Theresa) and Scott (Melissa) will remember the many times she took them to the park, went on bike rides with them and made cookies together.
Her great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Nolan, Sage, Renn, Elliott, Harrison, Jake, Cole, Annabelle, Nash and John will have fewer memories of Florence but have inherited her kindness and love of music.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016, 2:00 pm at Braemar Baptist Church, 7407 – 98 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6A 0A8.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in Florence’s honour be made to Braemar Baptist Church or The Good Samaritan Society, 8861 – 75 St. NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 4G8 https://gss.org/.
