FEHR (nee Quiring), Helen

It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Helen Fehr who went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 19, 2022 at the age of 91 years.

Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with precious memories are sons Vernon (Ursula) and Ron (Shelby) and daughters Linda (Barry), Janet (Sheldon) and Esther (Garfield), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as brothers Jake (Pat) and Frank (Dorothy) Quiring.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Diedrick, parents David and Suzanna Quiring and brothers and sisters Henry, Isaac, David, Susan, Katherine, Agnes, Cornelius, Mary and Annie.

Helen was born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on Nov 6, 1931. After moving to Manitoba at a young age she met her husband, Diedrick Fehr and they were married on July 9, 1950. Throughout her life she followed her husband to various places in Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia till in 2016 they moved back to Alberta to be closer to their children. Helen’s final home was at Shepherd Care Long Term Care, Edmonton.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to laugh, share jokes or give just a simple greeting or compliment to everyone she met. Laughter made her world so much better and by default all that she came in contact with.

The family would like to thank Shepherds Care staff for all their tender loving care and dedication to our mom.
