Sweet memories pervade my mind as I look back many decades to being a college boy working the summer in Calgary. The Snyder family “adopted” me like a son. The surprise birthday party, home cooked meals, Faye’s tutoring to enable me to make a piece of pottery in her basement for my mother and in the last year a lovely quilt. It was the warm, loving support of the family that made it so memorable and have kept these close ties through all these years.
Faye, you are now receiving your reward you deserve.

Faye’s husband, Bob, was my first cousin. After is too early death shr and I became so close that she became my true cousin. How I admire the way she took charge of her life as she served her Lord and His people. She searched out those who needed help and did all she could.. She gave and gave to family, friends, and the strangers in our midst She was my role model as I saw how her faith took her through so many setbacks. I loved her dearly, and I know she is resting in the arms of the Holy Spirit.
