Eamon was born in Dublin, Ireland, and lived there until 1974 where he worked as an insulator until he immigrated to Canada. He lived in Kitimat and Kamloops BC until he joined the 110 Union in 1977. Eamon was a member with the 110 Union for 42 years, working and living in Fort McMurray AB. He retired at 65, spending his winters in Thailand and his summers in Kamloops.
Eamon is survived by his two sons, Richard and Fergal, and two grandchildren, Sean and Nathan. He also leaves to mourn his loss, his two sisters, Anne (Peter) O’Connor, and Greta; his two brothers, Fintan (Delores), and Anthony (Brenda), along with many nieces & nephews. Eamon was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Margaret Farrelly, and his brother-in-law, Joe.
Eamon enjoyed fishing, golfing, horseracing, and a pint of Guinness.
