FALK, Erhard Armin

It is with extreme sadness and deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Erhard (Ari) on February 9, 2022, at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife Faye; his daughters Heather (Gary), Carolyn (Dan); sons Brian, Cameron (Nicole); brother Dietmar (Elaine); family in Australia; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Erhard was born in Konigsberg, East Prussia (Germany) on June 19, 1935. He immigrated to Canada with his parents and brother in 1953 and settled in Calgary. He was employed with Calgary Electrical System and retired in Edmonton with City of Edmonton Power, as Director of Substations and Control. Erhard had a strong faith which carried him through the challenges and trials he faced in his long successful life.

Ari was an avid reader and had extensive knowledge of the Bible, world history especially WWII, and a keen interest in current affairs. He had a love for dogs involving training, breeding, showing, and judging obedience. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
“We are confident…well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” II Corinthians 5:8

A private family graveside service is being held.
