The Last Flight
I have soared on wings of silver
Through the clouds into the sun
Carried thousands on their journeys
Landed safely, every one.
But now on wings of silent prayer
I take this flight alone
To gently pass beyond the blue
To be welcomed in the Great Unknown
This flight was logged some time ago
And only God controls the plan
He is my pilot now, taking me
Safely to the promised land.
