Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

I’m so very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Kev and I were talking about what a wonderful man he was. We have such great memories of going to the lake and always feeling welcome. He was always eager to get everyone out on the lake to water ski and very generous with his time and the masses of teenagers that came out on a regular basis, often unannounced, but always welcomed. I’ll never forget the weekend when I was out with Lana and we headed down to the lake for an early ski. What a surprise! No boat! A car had missed the curve in the road and landed right on it. We did see a few floating seats. Once that was all sorted and the boat wreckage located he didn’t miss a beat. He got another boat and was on the lake again. I haven’t seen Eugene for a number of years but have always held a warm place in my heart for him. I know that you will all miss him.
A toast to a loving and generous family man.
