It is very sad to hear of Irene’s passing. She had a very long and extremely healthy life and enjoyed it to her fullest. We remember Irene for her humour and positive outlook on life and for being always up for a new adventure. Our fondest memories of her was the time she spent with us out at Haida Gwaii where she partook of hiking long forested hikes, boat riding on the open ocean, catching crabs in rolling surf with a dip net while wearing chest waders for her first time. Also the time spent at the camp ground and the shared meals of fish and sea food fresh from the ocean. She was up for it all and at the age of 85 was a going concern with nothing holding her back. Great memories to hold of a lovely lady.
Our deepest sympathies to her whole large and extended family, Pat and Nicola Harris.
