ENOKSON, Gordon
1950 – 2022

With much sorrow, the family of Gordon Alexander Enokson, of Spruce Grove, Alberta, announce his passing on October 29, 2022, at the age of 72 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Marty, daughter Michelle (Rick) and son Michael (Joelle), grandchildren Bradley, Kristopher, Amber (Rick), Kasey, and Justine, his sister Carol, brother Eddie, sister Maureen, and numerous relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Marjorie, son Chico, and daughter Marie.
Gordon was an amazing father who raised five children. His love for each was unique, and his love for his wife was more than any woman could ask for. He set the bar on what true love was through his family and friends. Gordon was very proud of his service to our country and enjoyed being around other Veterans at the Legion. He had many wonderful friends that were a part of his community. Spending time with him brought many smiles and lots of laughter. He was almost kicked out of several apartments when watching Oiler hockey games, especially when they scored. Everyone could hear him hollering all the way in Edmonton and surrounding areas. He was a man that built his life on love for his family, honor for his country, and good hockey games.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Gordon at the Royal Canadian Legion on the 27th of November from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Wearing Oilers colors, or jerseys, is encouraged and appreciated. The Royal Canadian Legion #256 4902 – 44 Ave, Stony Plain, AB T7Z 1V5. https://stonyplainlegion.com

Michael Enokson

It has been weeks since my Father has passed and I feel despair. I not only lost my Dad, I lost my friend. I spent a huge part of my life working and living with him. I learned a lot and my heart is saddened. His celebration is this weekend, and were going to honor him in his community at the legion. My Dad loved all us kids, and most of all he loved his wife with true passion. Since she passed, he was never the same. But I take comfort in knowing that he is with her now, and with joyous hearts, we will move on until the day that we go to meet with them and celebrate even more. My wish is that everybody be blessed with the memories of their families that have passed on. For it is not the ending, but a new beginning. Praise God, for He is good, and may His face shine upon each and everyone of you.
Love Michael Enokson
