Ena May Northwood, 73, of Leduc, Alberta, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 27, 2013, in the arms of her husband, David and daughter, Rena, at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. She was born May 7, 1940 in Malone, Ontario.
Ena was a loving mother and devoted wife during her life in Trenton, Ontario, West Germany and Leduc, Alberta, with her husband, David, of 42 years of marriage. She loved to travel the world and spend time with her family and pets.
Survivors include her two sons, Stephen of Belleville, Ontario, Dwight (Jennifer) of Airdrie, Alberta; daughter Rena of Edmonton, Alberta; 4 siblings Doris, Betty, Sandy and Bert; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her dogs (Sonji and Annie).
She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Minnie Casselman of Malone, Ontario, daughter Pamela of Belleville, Ontario, and 12 other siblings.
The Northwood family would like to thank friends and families for their love and support during this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held for Ena on Wednesday, July 3, 20143 at 3:00 p.m. at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel, 4702 – 51 Avenue, Leduc, Alberta. An Inurnment will be held immediately following the service at the Leduc Cemetery, Field of Honour.
