Family was the most important thing in Mom’s life and she made many sacrifices to ensure our happiness. When there was a crisis in our lives, she was always our rock we could depend on. She had a wonderful sense of humour and took great pleasure in playing board games or cards with her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband Rich for 53 years. Together they showed all of us what commitment truly is. She was a much loved sister who treasured her siblings and loved sharing memories of their growing up together in St. Lawrence. Most of all, her greatest joy and achievement was watching her grandchildren grow into the amazing people they are and knowing that she played a part in their lives. This will be her greatest legacy. Mom was the heart and soul of the Peters family and will be dearly missed.
Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service celebrating Mom’s life will be held at the Woodvale Facility and Golf Clubhouse, 4540 50 Street, Edmonton, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted with the Children’s Heart Society or The Edmonton Epilepsy Association.
