Elsie Maisonneuve



It is with sadness that the family of Elsie Maisonneuve announces her passing. On May 11, 2016, she passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus.

Elsie was predeceased by her husband Julien Maisonneuve and her parents Karl and Ida Fercho.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Greg (Sue), Perry, Michelle (Doug) Wylie; her five grandchildren: Michael, Shawn, Elyse, Quynn and Taleah; her sister Adeline (Lorne) Sagan; her brothers: Ewald (Erna) Ferko, Arnold (Jutta) Ferko and Bert Ferko; her step-mother Rosamunde Fercho, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law; stepbrothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Elsie’s family would like to express their deepest thanks to the many kind and gentle healthcare providers who helped Elsie throughout the past two years at the Cross Cancer Institute, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and the Edmonton General Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Evangel Pentecostal Assembly, 4461-50 Street, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to World Vision Canada or to the charity of one’s choice.
