Elliott was born in P.E.I. where the majority of his family still reside, he passed away on April 17, 2016 in the Palliative Hospice at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital in Edmonton.
He leaves to morn his loss, his wife of 41 years Helga; siblings: brothers: Douglas (Georgina), Merrill (Marjorie), Lyman (Gail), Wendell (Debbie); sister Florence (Winston) and brother-in-law Eric Klammer. Also special in Elliott’s life was Harrison and Kaye of Summerside and many nieces and nephews.
Elliott had a great appreciation of nature with many trips across Canada and Western U.S. visiting ghost towns, bird watching, viewing wild life and antique museums. He loved his daily morning coffee breaks with his friends at Albert’s Boonie Doon Shopping Centre.
Elliott was predeceased by his parents Victor and Annie Ferguson.
At the request of Elliot, there will be no funeral, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital Foundation.
