Elizabeth (Betty) Elrick, was born on October 20, 1923 in Presov, Czechoslovakia. She came to Canada on January 28, 1932 with her mother and her sister Jean. Betty married Robert (Bob) Elrick on July 24, 1953 in Edmonton, Alberta. Together Betty and Bob raised one daughter, Marian.
Family played a very important role in Betty’s life. She was a devoted mother, Nana, and great grandmother.
Betty passed away peacefully at University of Alberta hospital in Edmonton on September 5, 2014.
Betty is lovingly remembered by,
daughter Marian and son-in-law Dave, grandchildren Jennifer (Craig), Teresa (Jeremy), and Derek, and great grandsons Brayden and Eliot, sisters Jean and Emily and brothers Tony, Don (Marion), and Fred (Marge).
Betty was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Peter and by her loving husband Robert Elrick.
