I first met Beth “Palmer” as my student in a Chemistry class at Queen Elizabeth High, My wife Marlene and I have known her ever since, as a colleague of Marlene’s and a teacher of our two sons at Fort Elementary, and as a wonderful friend. We’ll miss her,but will never forget that smile…

Mrs Budd was one of my teachers in Elementary. She always looked out for each and everyone of her students. She went above and beyond so many times and we all are better people because of her. It saddened us when she retired, the same year my son finished grade 6. Now the news of her passing has deeply saddened not only us, but all who knew her. Now she can spread her angel’s wings, and soar without worry or pain. She was truly a blessing! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
