Edward Arthur Williamson


It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Williamson announce his sudden passing on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the age of 62.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Williamson; son, David with his wife Krista and their children Abigail and Lillian; daughter, Michelle (Poitras) with her husband Daniel and their children Drake, Griffin and Rowan; brother Doug and his wife Elaine and father in law, John Weiss, as well as many more family and friends.

A casual reception will be held on Wednesday, June 26th between 7-9pm at Serenity Funeral Homes, 9914 103 St in Fort Saskatchewan.

Cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the kindness, love and support shown during our time of grief. Memorial to also occur in Ontario in August with details still to be determined.

Memorial donations in Ed’s honour may be made directly to the charity of your choice.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I worked with Ed at Imperial Oil and he was a very kind and helpful gentleman. I remember him telling me about beautiful places along the coast to see.
