Edmund Glenn Cowan

With strength, courage and honour Glenn fought, but ultimately succumbed to his illness. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Mary and Muriel, numerous nieces and nephews and special caregivers Joanna and Edmund Fraczek. He was predeceased by his sister Jean Lemare, brother John, brothers-in-law Thomas Hatton, Elmer Lemare, Clifford Claughton and Leonard Foster, mother Cassie and father Ed, and stepfather Joseph Willson.

A service for Glenn will be announced at a later date and the interment of his urns will be at Beaver Lodge Cemetery and Rosetown Cemetery with his parents and brother.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Unit 3D4 of the University of Alberta Hospital for their care and compassion of Glenn during his stay there. Memorial donations in honour of Glenn may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

My sincerest condolences to Cowan family. Losing a loved one is one of the painful things in this world. It is comforting to know that God deeply cares about us and would soon act to eliminate death (1 Peter 5:7; Revelation 21:4). May you find comfort from these scriptures.
