As a young kid I lived across the street from Lorna and Elmer. Rick was my best friend for a couple of years and I also hung out with Steve sometimes. Mostly Steve was my enforcer when I got picked on at school. I remember little Holly running around the place. I have very fond memories of Lorna. She was very gentle and always extremely kind and welcoming to me. She was obviously very patient as well as Rick and I could be terrors. If I remember correctly I believe she was also a big Elvis fan! I haven’t been a part of Lorna’s life for 40 plus years, but some people leave an impression and Lorna was certainly one of them. I stumbled across this obituary today and was very sad to see that she had passed away so young. My thoughts and sympathy are with all of her family and friends.
