Dayle Dutkowski (née Wishart) died peacefully on December 7, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 77.
Dayle is survived by her daughter-in-law Sherrie (Rod) Mol of Edmonton; and her 3 grandchildren, Heather (Eric), Brook, and Brett. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Harold and Elinor Wishart, sister Lesley Oas, husband Ivan Dutkowski, and son Dukane Dutkowski.
Dayle was born on April 12th, 1943 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dayle was accomplished at painting, gardening, and carpentry. She was a creative, nurturing and independent individual who loved adding beauty to the world. Dayle was a gifted storyteller, who was known for the detailed narratives she shared about her life.
She was passionate about her family, home and community. Dayle loved taking road trips and spending time at the family cabins in Manitoba and Northern Alberta, where she enjoyed swimming and connecting with her family.
We would like to thank the staff at both the Sturgeon Community Hospital and the Misericordia Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
