Stu taught me how to walk using snow-shoes in Slave Lake while working on a Transmission Power Line Project. As a dedicated surveyor and a great teacher, Stu was patient and never left me too far behind in the deep snow on a day when the temperature was -38C. We later went to the Saw Ridge Hotel where introduced my to onion soup- still my favourite. Stu was a kind and knowledgeable person. My sincere condolences to his family members.

Dear family and friends of Stuart. Pls accept my most sincere sympathy. Stu was a neighbourhood resident a couple of houses from me and my deceased hubby Ernie who worked at APL with him. He was a wonderful fellow. He used to clear snow from my sidewalk before I’d get out to do so. Almost 30 years as neighbours when I moved to Beaverlodge. Take care and God bless you.
