Donnie was a man of principle, integrity, honesty. He was dedicated and committed to the labour movement and workers; striving for a better world for all. His easy camaraderie, quick wit made him a pleasure to work with. It was a privilege to call him friend. He was the kind of person who rolled up their sleeves, got others to do the same and got any job done. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I worked closely with Donnie for a few year. He was a committed trade unionist and he had a good heart. Always in the little guy’s court. He will be missed

Donnie was one of the finest, most principled trade unionists I have ever met. I was proud to have him for a comrade and a friend and to have worked with him in the labour movement.

Sincere condolences on Don’s (always Donnie to me) passing. I remember having great fun playing with him as a child. He was definitely my father’s favourite nephew. Bonnie
