Donald Francis Koble

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Donny on January 20, 2016, at the age of 58 years. We rejoice in the knowledge that he is once again reunited with his Grandma ‘Annie’ Schan and they are on their way to the chicken coop to collect the morning’s eggs.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy, children Gabriel and Echo, grandchildren Lyric, Gunnar and Astral, and extended family and friends. See you in the mystic Donny.

A Celebration of Donny’s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ottewell United Church, 6611-93A Avenue NW, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Warriors “Be Brave Ranch” or a charity of one’s choice.

I have so many wonderful memories of Donny – we spent so many days on the farm as kids having the “time of our lives”! From driving the old International truck with no door as fast as we could through the pastures to being chased by the cattle that we were herding, or driving the old tractor to the Texas gate and back! Many forts were built in the trees, and the bale stacks as well! He used to wonder why I would want to sleep in when he would butcher chickens with mom – he couldn’t understand why I would want to miss out on such fun! I’m so glad I have such precious memories of those days! Rest in peace…..with love from Margie (or aunty Mags as you always called me!)
Our sincere sympathy to all of Donny’s family – our hugs and prayers are with you.
