Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

Beverly and Alex Yeung

We send our sincere condolences to Bea and family on the loss of Dieter. Alex and I remember him as a kind and gentle man. We feel fortunate to have met through the Idylwylde Community League when the Schmidtkes lived in our neighborhood. We had the privilege of working with Dieter on the Board when he was President of our League. It was wonderful to get to know all of you through neighborhood events over those years. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing what a loving presence Dieter brought to all those he met. Much love to you all.

Erhard & Bev Buss

Dieter came into my (Erhard’s) life when he was just a little lad. We stayed in touch over the years. Dieter lived to cook and he loved to talk. He loved volleyball .He loved the church and Had a deep personal faith. We will miss you, Dieter.

Dear Schmidtke family,

We grieve with you. Growing up literally across the street from you I have many fond memories of Dieter. His cheerful disposition, his hearty laugh and just his genuine caring personality. Know that we pray for you during this difficult time.
