It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David Ernest Wall, 87, on Thursday, February 4th at Leduc, Alberta. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Etta, Hazel, Lily, and Bob; his children Roxy (Dave), Kathy (Ralph), Lucy (Tom), and Patrick; his grandchildren Naomi (Adrien), Daniel (Emily), Joshua, Jordan, Mickey, Ruth and Zeke; his great-grandchildren Celes, Annetta, and Eva; his wife Doris and her children Blaine (Colleen), Brian (Karen), and grandchildren Amanda, Ryan and Joe; and many other relatives and friends.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Timothy and Jennie (Anderson) Wall; siblings Arthur, Bill, Florence, George, and Margaret; his son, Michael, and his wife Viola.
Dave grew up on a farm near Dryden, Ontario, where he enjoyed the outdoors. The family moved to Edmonton in 1966.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Salem Manor for the wonderful care provided to Dave over the past few years.
A celebration of Life was held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Manor Nursing Home at 4419 46 St, Leduc, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lions Club or the University of Alberta Foundation to the Mazankowski Heart Institute (University Hospital Foundation Donor Office – 8440 – 112 Street, N.W. Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7)
