I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. I went to school with David in Creston and even though it was when we were kids and so long ago he was a special person and I often thought of him with fond memories of the friendship and kindness that he showed me, he always seemed to look out for me. I hadn’t talked to him in a while and was hoping to reconnect with him and was so sorry to find this when trying to track him down…my heart goes out to the people that were close to him.

Our family sends our deepest condolences to yours, I am sorry this is so late but I only have just heard about your loss.

I went to elementary school with Chris and David and we use to walk across the field to school together in the early mornings and sometimes Heather would let me in and wait if it was too cold:). I use to meet the two boys at the hockey rink and play shinny until 9 pm. David was always the first one to check me into the boards, even though I was still a girl he didn’t care haha!. He had a wild spirit from what I remember and sometimes even though it was 20 years ago, I still remember playing with them and remembering the laughs we had.

Such a shame his flame is gone but I know his spirit will surround you.

I never had the privilege of knowing this young man but I have heard many good things about him and I know he meant the world to the Saunders family. I also know they’re beside themselves with grief after this loss. My heart goes out to them during this difficult time.
