Darrell Dixon
October 11, 1954 to July 21, 2014
It is with great sadness that the family of Darrell John Dixon announces his passing on July 21, 2014. He battled cancer with every ounce of strength he had. Darrell was born on October 11, 1954 to Jack and Kay Dixon and graduated from the University of Alberta in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
Darrell will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Debbie, and children, Stephanie and Matthew. Darrell will also be greatly missed by his brothers, Greg (Rosa) and Vince (Sylvia), mother-in-law Gladys Green and sisters-in-law, Sharilyn (Dennis) Cook and Kathy Green; nine nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; and many friends and relatives. Darrell was also blessed with a wonderful group of “buddies” (and their wives) who will miss him greatly and who he loved. Darrell was preceded by his mom and dad, Kay and Jack Dixon, and father-in-law Bill Green. Our thanks go out to the nursing staff and doctors on Unit 43 at the Grey Nuns Hospital. You are truly angels of mercy.
A Celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, a donation to either the Cancer Society Lodge in Victoria, or Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Debbie, Stephanie and Matthew,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Darrell was truly one of the good guys. I will remember him as a loyal family man possessing a strong moral compass and solid professional skills. I will also not forget his dry wit and mischievous spirit when we were kids.
We are so sorry for your loss.
Take care,
George and Kim Keller and Family
