Darleen Kwirant of Wildwood, Alberta passed away following a courageous battle with cancer at Norwood Palliative Care, Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the age of 63 years. Darleen will forever be remembered by her loving husband, Ewald Kwirant of Wildwood; daughter, Linda Kwirant (Richard Scinta) of Drayton Valley; two sons, Micheal Kwirant (Tina Clark) and his children Andy Kwirant and Madeline Kwirant of Drayton Valley and James Kwirant of Edson and his son Shawn Kwirant of Drayton Valley. She is also survived by her mother Eugenia Ditner of Evansburg; sisters and brother, Nancy Leflar (Jim) of Roblin, Manitoba, Christine Willoughby (Dale) of Drayton Valley, Kelvin Ditner of Wildwood, Elaine Mastaler (Leroy) of Spirit River, Alberta, Jamie Miller (Russell) of Wildwood and Marie Szautner (David) of Wildwood, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her father, Allan Ditner. Darleen and her husband operated Ditner’s Feed Service and Supply Ltd. The Kwirant family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Clive Gigg, staff at the Good Samaritan Society, George Henning Place in Stony Plain and Norwood Hospice in Edmonton. Memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of the one’s choice. A Celebration of Darleen’s Life will be held at the Wildwood Community Hall on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
