CIMENTI, Danilo Pietro

On May 2, 2020, at the age of 88, Danilo passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

He will be fondly remembered for his good humour, gentle soul and his readiness to help others. Our family was blessed to continue making memories with him at home up until his final days.

Smiling up at him, he is survived by Rachele, his loving wife of 61 years, along with his children, Giorgio (Alexandra), Eleonora, Sergio; four grandchildren, Eric (Amber), Alina, Brody, and Kirra; along with many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends in Canada and Italy.  He is predeceased by his dear baby daughter Eleonora, brother Gino and sister Giudita.

Due to the current gathering restrictions (COVID-19), there will be a private burial with immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a local Food Bank.

Garry Klassen

My dad Abe Klassen got me a job with Con-Force in the mid 70’s. On many occasions I worked with Danilo and he was always very helpful and always showing me how to properly do things. He was a very nice man and easy to talk to. I have had several occasions over the past several years where I had bumped into him and really enjoyed chatting with him. I hope your family finds comfort in your memories.

Perry and Lena Sokolan

Our sincere condolences to Rachele , Giorgio, Alexandra, Eleonora, Sergio, Eric, Alina, Brody and Kirra. Danilo was a hard working man devoted to his family with a unique sense of humour. He was always very hospitable to everyone who came to his home. I enjoyed his company immensely and am proud to say he was my friend. May his soul rest in heaven with his daughter in eternal peace. Love Perry and Lena Sokolan
