It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorna Daniel in Leduc, Alberta on July 10, 2017.

Lorna is survived by her husband Ashley Daniel; stepson Teak Daniel and his wife Ji Sun Moon; granddaughter Yuni Daniel; mother Hazel Rogers; sisters Andrea, Angella and Colleen; brother George; nieces Carle, Candace, Brianna and Elise; nephews Jesse, Hal, Patrick and Frederik; and a very cherished grand-nephew Tyson.  She was daughter-in-law to Eleuta Fraser and Uriah Daniel; and sister-in-law to Aldwin Peters, Ainsley Daniel, Ainsworth Daniel, Isadora Daniel and Zipporah Sealy.

Lorna was born in Jamaica to Hazel and Hal Rogers, and was predeceased by her father, grandparents and five uncles.  She leaves to mourn many aunts, cousins and other extended family and friends.  Lorna was an avid sports fan and enjoyed running, swimming and dragon boat racing.  She enjoyed travelling to many parts of the world with her husband and family.  Lorna worked as a corporate paralegal with Lucas Bishop and Edwards (now DLA Piper) and finished her career at Duncan Craig LLP.  She also taught hundreds of area paralegals at Grant MacEwan.  Lorna will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Lorna’s life will be officiated by Reverend Susan Ormsbee at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 4416 – 50 Street, Leduc, AB on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.  Walk good Lorna.
