I have known Daniel for many years…and we had become very close friends. I am shocked, deeply saddened, and devastated by his sudden, and very unexpected passing. My prayers go out to Daniel, his family, relatives, friends, and loved ones…sending lots of love, peace, and healing, to you, at this very difficult time. I will miss you, my friend!

I was friends with Dan for 10 years and during that time I went through a couple of personal battles, one of those battles took place in the last year breast cancer. Dan always called or came by to make sure I was doing ok. He loved texting and wouldn’t quit tell I answered him back. If I was depressed about my journey he always cheered me up and told me if anyone could beat it, it was me. We even lost touch with each other when I moved to Calgary, but when I moved back good old dependable Dan was the only one with the same cell phone number. I miss you lots, and will chariest the road trips to Calgary for the surgeries on your knee. Thanks for the memories Dan, you were taken for to soon but I guess god needed you to fix something at his house.

I met Daniel at Tim Hortons in Beaumont where everyone gets to know those who sit and like to chat. What a happy man and pleasant to laugh with, considering his health. Never a negative word came out of his mouth. A real treat to have met him. I am very shocked and deeply sadden of his passing. May God comfort those who loved him, and I know He is with his maker chatting kind words.
Even though I didn’t know him long, I’m honestly going to miss seeing him again.
Sleep well my friend, enjoy your new journey. Once you arrive and wake up in the presence of God your father? You’ll be home.
