It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alma Dallman, age 84, on May 28, 2018 at the Leduc Hospital.
Alma was born in Barrhead, AB on September 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Otto and Martha (Pipke) Neumann.
Alma was a hard worker and worked for many years at Woodward’s as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening and will be remembered for her beautiful cross-stitch creations. Alma was always up for Bingo, an evening of slots or a game of cards. She was also an avid reader, especially in her later years.
She will be deeply missed by her children Glenda (Jay) and Jim (Jackie); her grandchildren Kimberly (Matthew), Jeff, and Dana (Ria, Micheal); her great-grandchildren Holly, James, Henry and Marshyll; sisters-in-law Martha, Helen, Ruth and Christel; as well as many other family members and friends.
Besides her parents, Alma was predeceased by her husband Arthur; brothers Garth, Ralph and Walter; sisters-in-law Gladys, Frieda and Gertrude; and brothers-in-law Mike, Red, Don and Fred.
Alma will be remembered for her kindness, quick wit and sense of justice.
Honouring Alma’s own wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment of the urn will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Edmonton, AB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and care staff at the Leduc Hospital and the Grey Nuns Hospital for their excellent care and support.
