Cynthia Jane Andrews

-

We are greatly saddened to announce the passing of Cynthia Jane Andrews (nee Redmond) on May 31, 2014 at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB. She passed away peacefully at the tender age of 51, after her courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and her faith.

Cyndy loved her family (near and far), her dogs, traveling to sandy beaches and sunshine, camping, and the holidays.

She is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Roger, her children: Jennifer (Murray Amero), Jonathan, Nicole and Jake, and her grandson, Asher Amero. She is predeceased by her parents John and Theresa Redmond, and her brother Mike.

We would like to thank Dr. Amigo and the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital and Dr. Yee, Dr. Smylie, and Dr. Follett at the Cross Cancer Institute for their compassionate care.

The funeral service for Cyndy will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church (5105 45A St., Leduc, AB) on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, Cyndy asked that donations be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1502, 8215 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 9Z9
