Crispin ‘Cris’ James Cox

Cris will be remembered by his wife Louise; daughters, Toni (Warren) Tessari, Tracy (Kelly) Mock; daughter-in-law, Maryann; grandchildren Jasmine (Eric) Hamilton, Bailey (Jonathan) Cox, Grady and Zoe Mock and numerous family and friends.

Cris was predeceased by his first wife Barbara McCallum in 1966, his son David in 2018 and his parents, Anne Cox in 1970 and James Cox in 1974.

He was raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia until the age of 12 when his parents moved to Toronto.  After working in different areas, including owning a gas station with a friend, he answered an ad for the Zurich Insurance Company, was transferred to Edmonton Branch in 1965 and spent the rest of his working life in Insurance, which he truly enjoyed.

He enjoyed cars, sports, biking, camping, traveling and especially being with his family, he always said that having nine brothers-in-law after being an only child was the best thing ever.

A Celebration of Cris’s Life will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Church at South Edmonton, 9908 – 67 Ave, NW, Edmonton at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial tributes can be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation,
