Corwin Jay Marshall

MARSHALL, Corwin (Cory) Jay

On July 05, 2015 the Lord carried away our beloved son Cory. He was gone all too quickly, taken by a short battle with Bacterial Meningitis. He was only 40 years old.
Cory is survived by his daughter Zoe and son Ruben, both of Whitehorse YT, his parents Ken and Kathy Marshall and brother Kyle, all of Edmonton, and sister Samantha of Victoria. Cory will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cory was a great lover of family, friends, the great outdoors, the Red Boot Quartet and the Grateful Dead. So it is with a quote from one of their songs Cory can be heard to say “What a long strange trip it’s been”.
Cory will be cremated with a private family service to follow.
Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Tribute wall - a place to share your memories and condolences

I just learned of Cory’s passing and my heart broke into a pieces. The adventures we had were amazing, and the memories created will hopefully last my lifetime. What a privilege it was to know him. May your next journey be even longer and stranger than this one C.

Wow! I haven’t seen Cory in 14 yrs. when I learnt of his passing my heart sunk . Cory was hands down one of the best people to go on a road trip with hang out in a park with or just go for a walk with. Opportunity always seemed to arise. He was one of the good ones.
Enjoy Deadagonia my old friend.
See you again.
